In the QPM laboratory the experimental setup source of correlated photons has been assembled.
The LBX-375 (Oxxius) laser with a central wavelength of 375 nm is used as a pump radiation source. A negative uniaxial crystal of barium beta-borate (BBO) is used as the active medium. The conditions of phase synchronism of the I-type are realized in the crystal.
As a result, photons are generated at a wavelength of 750 nm. Photons are registered by single photon counters id120 (ID Quantique), which in turn are connected to an id800-TDC (ID Quantique) time-digital converter. It is possible to use a single photon counter based on a superconductor.
